[REPORTS TO] MNC Engineering Manager & GM

[POSITION SUMMARY]
This position manages all of MNC consists of the Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and PLC Programming functions. Through the creative integration of these functions, this group’s primary objectives are to create maximum profit through a combination of:
– High margin, differentiated new products(NPD; New Product Development),
– Low cost product designs and material choice,
– Safe, high quality, reliable product offerings
– Turnkey project execution and management
This position combines elements of both Engineering and Project leadership role
[DIMENSIONS]
This role provides management, leadership, and integration of three functions: product engineering, manufacturing engineering and PLC Programing. This position requires interaction with all levels and functions .Engineering Group Manager reports directly to the MNC Representative Director and MNC Engineering Manager in US. As a member of MNC Senior Leadership team, Engineering Group Manager actively participates in strategy development, implementation, and decision making for the overall success of the business.

[Product]
- Supports an installed base of over 20,000 systems consisting of ~10 different product lines within four major product families: GasKeeper (Gas Delivery System), ChemKeeper (Liquid Chemical Delivery System), BSGS (Bulk Specialty Gas Supply)
- Annual equipment sales: $ 50-90MM
Integration with other departments is essential to the success of this position/Group. These include: MNC Engineering, Electronics Material Technology.
[PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES]
This position is accountable for the following end results:
1) Develop high margin, differentiated new products(NPD; New Product Development),
2) Employ low cost product designs and material choice,
3) Develop safe, high quality, reliable product offerings
4) Turnkey Project Execution and management
5) Responsible to maintain and follow all Air products engineering guideline and local regulations to manufacture all product lines.
6) CI (Continuous Improvement)Executionand management
[Product Eng., Manufacturing Eng., PLC Programming and TPS]
- Responsible for developing and managing strategic plans for MNC products across the business and ensuring the tactical implementation is in alignment with these plans. Responsibilities include developing product line strategic plans, profit improvement plans, identifying sources of competitive advantage, developing action plans to bridge gaps, and develop and define feature-function-benefit across equipment offerings as well as similar comparisons with competitive offerings.
[Accountabilities]
- Support product sales and volume forecasts as part of Sales and Operations planning
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps and new product development plans according to voice of the customer (VOC)
- Profitability target and product plans to improve Direct Profit
- Create and maintain commercial/marketing communication tools for sustaining products
- Provide business prioritization and VOC to sustaining engineering, manufacturing and NPD
- Product lifecycle and obsolescence planning
- Major Technical issue resolution including coordination and leading internal teams and communications with customers
- Work with MNC Services/Manufacturing to define needed reliability data and targets
- Responsible for bridging communication among US organization sand Global Main Tools Suppliers to ensure that our products and NPD efforts are aligned to meet Electronic Material targets.
- Responsible to lead communication to external Product Managers.
- Lead Management of Change and Hazardous Review processes
- Technical Risk Management
- Effective project execution
- Administration of and adherence to Minimum Functional Requirements documents and other equipment specific Engineering Specs and Standard
[Position Requirements]
This incumbent requires over 15 year plenty job experience in a semiconductor industry or in the similar companies and over 5 year management experience in general Gas or Chemicals Industries.
And at least bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, System engineering is needed to manage a functional organization.
A proactive, positive passion and leadership will be a basic requirement to implement such an important role with following competencies.
Also, fluent English conversational skills are needed to have an enough communications with global teams.
