Electrical Engineer
[Requirements]
1) The potential candidate must have extensive hands-on experience and knowledge in the following aspects with major duties listed as below:
2) Performs professional engineering work relative to the installation, modification and/or major repair and maintenance of electrical facilities and equipment such as power and light distribution systems including transformer stations, power lines and generating plants;
3) Reviews projects plans and specifications for overall accuracy, completeness and conformance with sound engineering principles;
4) Serves as the primary operator of the “Russelctric” automatic transfer switch and backup generator system to include responsibility as the first responder to all outages and other system related issues;
5) Responsible for all aspects of electrical power distribution throughout the MNC to include trouble-shooting, repairing and specifying replacement items;
6) Provides hands-on electrical and equipment support to MNC staff as needed; and
7) Performs other duties as assigned.
[Minimum Qualifications]
1) A minimum of 10 years hands-on work experience in the above mentioned areas;
2) Able to operate/troubleshoot emergency power control systems;
3) Hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power or Electronic Engineering or have equivalent experience and certifications (regardless of degree, should hold the P.E. (Professional Engineer) license ;
4) Must be familiar with Arc Flash safety and applicable codes such as UL, NEC, NFPA and OSHA; and
5) Able to communicate in speaking and written in English is desirable
